More than ever, people are fed up with the state of government. From local politicians selling out to developers, to our state and federal elected officials just plain ignoring fiscal responsibility, people have begun to lose hope. Now is the time to be heard. A single person CAN have an effect. However distasteful we may find those who participate in politics, we must participate in the political process. it is not just our right as citizens, but it is essential to be heard if our community is to rebound from its current financial straights.

Modesto is made up of many different political affiliations, and what is great about government, is that there are many different ways to be heard! You can click on a link to the right, and find out what is on the agenda for the next Tuesday's Modesto City Council meeting. Did you know that there is a specific City Council person for your neighborhood? Click on the City Council link and find out who your representative is. There is a lot of information on this page, you just need to figure out where your voice is needed the most.

While Politics is a hot-button issue, and can ruin any Thanksgiving dinner, you won't find any advocacy here. You will only find advocacy for involvement. We don't espouse any political philosophy other than get Informed, Get Involved, and Get Interactive! Follow those steps, and you will slowly start to see things change. And if you truly care about how your community is governed, you will continue to be involved with the issues you care about most.
